CHANGING ENTER KEY BEHAVIOUR WHILE MOVING BETWEEN CELLS IN EXCEL

When you enter information in a cell, and then press the Enter key, Excel normally moves to the below the cell in which your entered the information. You can change this behavior of moving between cells while pressing Enter key.

1.
In MS Office 2007
Go to top right corner and click on Office Button &
In MS Office 2010
Go to top right corner and click on File Button
2. In MS Office 2007 click on Excel Option
    In MS Office 2010 click on Options


3. This will show Excel Options Dialog box.



4. Make sure After pressing enter, move selection Check Box is Selected.
5. From Direction Drop Down list box Select the direction for Cell Pointer, While pressing Enter Key to move between cells.
6. Follow the steps in the above Images and Click OK...
